I don't really know where to begin!
What an exciting day, and what a result for the Aussies!
6 in the top 10 placings after what was an action packed day of intense competition.


Aussie Domination is a definate understatement!!!

After a large field and the final competitor of the day, Andrew Hoy and Moon Fleet have stolen the lead with a 4 fault advantage to see them off on the x-country tommorrow.
Andrew Hoy leads, Lucinda Fredericks is in 2nd, Betttina Hoy is third and Clayton Fredericks is 4th. US Bonnie Mosser lies 5th.
There is a huge amount of support for this leading combination... you literally could have heard a pin drop on their entry to the arena... such expectation, and no one was disapointed with the outcome. Hoy Hoy Hoy was the cry!


Other highlights were an excellent test by Ruth Edge of the UK, and Bonnie's debut test at Burleigh.
Lucinda Fredrick's 2 x perfest scores of ten! WOW!!!!!!
Jennie Lorriston Clarke was said to be pleasantly surprised by the little horse in the trot up that grew into the Dressage Master on Thursday.

Clayton Fredericks in his lovely relaxed way when questioned about the husband and wife duos in the first four places quipped " It's a bit like Barbie and Ken - but it's OK!"

The British press seem determined to pressurise Andrew into sharing his hopes and dreams. "What will he do if he loses?, what does he feel are his chances?"

With a thoughtful steely grin He stated " I came with nothing and if I do not win I have lost nothing!" ... Such a humble soul!

We wish Andrew and all the competitors a fantastic days jumping tommorrow, Saturday... may they all come back safe and smiling. The conditions are perfect and the scenic testing course awaits.
